How to add an Avatar to your posts

Would someone explain to me how I might add an Avatar to my posts?

Go to the drop down menu under your user name. Open "user control panel". Click on "profile" tab. Click on "edit avator".

It?s a real pita getting the image small enough and sized properly for it to upload. I had a hellova time and won?t be changing mine any time soon...

Beneteau: Thank you. I have tried that a few times, and will do so again come tomorrow when I get back on. I like the VMA patch! I might go with my Old Thundering Third, 4th Marine Regiment patch! Still thinkin' onb it.
