    I was driving that stretch of road back in the early '90s while camping up there. We were coming from the top of the screen and were a little past that parking area and the mountain on the left of that picture gets a little steep. We had the windows down, going slow just enjoying the day and hear all this racket coming from up the hill. A GIANT buck hits the ground just to the right of our little car, bounds over the hood and off into that big meadow. He was a 12 pointer at least. Probably the largest white tail I have seen this side of the Mississippi. Good thing I was going slow and the person behind us was not tailgating.
