I was driving and station surfing then landed on BBC and this bit of Russian mystery popped up. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p07grys7

Kind a interesting blaming the locals, Russian "tests" covered up by the Russian version of "Men In Black", comet/meteor, freak weather and even blaming a Yeti/space aliens.

I have seen several documentaries on this mystery. Very interesting I would love to find out what happened to this group of young hikers. A Psycho Sasquatch? UFO? I mean, this is a bizarre mystery.

I have a theory regarding the incident.

Somehow some of those scientists offended a military officer and he flew out with a helicopter or drove out with some sort of snow vehicle and picked them up and carried or dragged them for a few hundred yards.

Some of them fell out of the tent . Some of those tried to make their way back and others tried to start a fire or climb a tree to look around, not realizing the tent had been dropped nearby.

I go with the "Yeti" more like a "caveman" dressed out in fur. I'm reckon they could exist in the backwoods of Russia. It's big and remote enough they could walk around without running into folks.

Yetis? Yeah blame it on things that don't exist, sounds like governments everywhere. Project Blue Book comes to mind.
