Saw A Strange American Flag Today

I saw a flag flying at a very distant neighbors house (about 2 miles away) that got my curiosity going.

It was a nice new looking American flag but one of the lower stripes was BLUE.

Not sure which stripe it was as I was cruising along at highway speed, but does anyone know what a blue stripe signifies?

My first thought was Democrat but I really hope they have not gone to this extreme.

    Thanks Sam for chiming in. Yes, that is it. After I made my post I did a google and found this;

    The blue striped American flag, wheter in color with the blue stripe or black and white with the blue stripe is to represent the ?Blue Lives Matter? movement which shows support for the men and women in law enforcement, whether they be local city, county, state officers or an officer with any of the law enforcement agencies of the Federal government?such as the FBI, DEA, ICE, Border Patrol, etc.

    I am VERY glad to see what this flag represents! I stand behind it 100%.

    Funny how the worst thoughts fill my head when I see new things these days!

    It's a shame that an addendum has to be added to the flag to show support for law enforcement. In the old days that was understood along with a lot of other things that only required common sense and patriotism.

    It flies besides Old Glory at my house. There is another version with a red stripe to support fire fighters.

    The American flag should not be altered in appearance; To do so is a violation of US Flag code which states: The flag of the United States shall be thirteen horizontal stripes, alternate red and white; and the union of the flag shall be fifty stars, white in a blue field.

    I'm with you here, Racer. nothing should be altered from its standard form. before you know it, the black and blue will be changed to rainbow stripes and nothing can be said against it.
