British Airways 'suspends flights to Cairo?

Is it precaution only or something else is in the works?

A letter handed to passengers explained that the bold decision to cancel all flights to the Egyptian city was being made "as a precaution to allow for further assessment" following a review of "security arrangements".

    Riots near the American embassy? Protests because Americans have been speaking blasphemy against Islam? Muslim Brotherhood doesn't like us?

    Lufthansa also suspended flights to Cairo on the 20th but just for one day.

    KLM pulled their operations out in either Dec of 16 or Jan of 17, citing that it wasn?t being a profitable route for them.
    This hiccup has a few of our guys moving around getting flights on Air France and Egyptair.

    Not sure of the exact reason, but we?ll see what pans out in the coming days.
