Shot USPSA Limited today -1st time

I am a regular USPSA Open gun shooter with a Glock 34 full built race gun.

I changed optics last month and apparently hosed the mounting of the optic (which I did myself).

Long story short I wasn?t confident in the gun as of last night, so I built a Glock 17 entirely out of spare parts and ran it in Limited division instead of open this morning.

Literally the first stage of the match was the 1st time this gun had ever been fired. I didn?t even have the chance to put it on paper once before the match.

So I tried to shoot very slow and focus on Alpha hits instead of speed.

I had a great time, gun ran well & for the most part I stuck to the game plan (shoot Alpha?s). There were definitely some stages that would have favored my open gun- but now Im thinking maybe I need a full time limited gun as well....

Thought I would share not fast since I share my fast videos

Lookin' good, Warbirds. One of these days I need to go shoot a USPSA match. I've done a ton of IDPA/Defensive Pistol, but so far only one USPSA. My wife seems to think it more important that I finish getting our house ready to sell than to go play with my 35! She's kinda funny that way...

everyone should at least try a U.S.P.S.A. run
old employer used to sponsor me with ammo each year (they also had me carry at work doing cash carries etc.)
after they closed, couldnt find high enough paying work to keep going, as matches and practice eats a LOT of ammo
