Old news. Search "Fred Hickey" - he won a lawsuit against author alleging he accidentally shot the President.

Kennedy is still alive! He lives in Barbados with Marylin Monroe... That is my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

Part of the Hickey story (fairy tale?) is that he was supposed to be a driver that day. All the SS guys went out drinking the night before and had huge hangovers so Hickey was assigned the AR instead although he wasn't very experienced with it. Kinda hard to imagine that the president's guards aren't fully trained in all sorts of weapons, yet, look what happened to Lincoln.

FYI ... President Lincoln ESTABLISHED the secret service for protection of the president on the day he was shot....so the service was just authorized but hadn't been formed yet.
