    From the article "As soon as the new rule is released, expect Democrats to go apoplectic." That is an understatement, I think it will be a full blown meltdown! Look for foaming at the mouth and the use of their republican voodoo dolls to increase. Bob

    i think it is GREAT that someone, ANYONE in govt is trying to limit the FREEBIES ....business as usual is to just keep adding names to their lists....and taxes to the working citizens

    It used to be folks that didn't have enough food lined up at the local school or other public building and got canned goods, cheese, and other such non-perishable items to help them out. My father was a township trustee and once a month I helped in this process.

    It just really burns me that places like 24 hours convenience stores, where prices are 20-50% higher than grocery stores are allowed to accept E B T. but I get the reasoning why we don't want someone picking and choosing which stores can process the cards.

    If the government wanted to, they could easily determine with a simple computer algorithm which households are likely trading the use of their cards for cash, investigate carefully and if warranted prosecute fully.

    Exactly true.

    The government give aways need to be curtailed in many areas.
    Welfare is full of graft and outright theft of OUR money.
    The government has no rights. Only the people have rights which empowers the government.
    We have enough gun laws, what we need is IDIOT control.
    Blood makes you related. Loyalty makes you family.

    I thought getting old would take longer. :shock:
