    A couple of my favorite movies of his were (Wanted Dead or Alive, Blind Fury and ladyhawke) RIP.

    When he played "The Hitcher" in the original movie, his cold blooded side sure got my attention!! :o

    After seeing that movie back in the day, I never even considered picking up another hitch hiker! Growing up, before having wheels of my own, I got around to many places by putting my thumb out along the open road. When I finally got wheels I'd often pick up folks doing same, as I considered it a kind of payback.

    That movie changed my ways for life!

    Great Actor and a good man.

    He was brilliant in Blade Runner and the Hitcher but I really like the movie Blood of Heroes.

    Sam, that is one Ruger Hauer movie I have never seen. I will be putting it on my wish list for sure! I lent my copy of " Escape From Sorbidor" to my kid brother a couple of years ago. I asked him for it back about a year ago and he denied ever borrowing it! :shock:

    I didn't get mad at him. Last month he forgot to take home his nice new copy of "Lonesome Dove". It should just about cover my loss of that old VHS tape anyway! 8-) ;)
