Black Coffee

I love it!! I'm getting ready to brew my third pot from my trusty desk mounted MR. Coffee. I am brewing Dunkin Dark Roast which is really good in my not so humble opinion. Went by the nearest dunkin this afternoon to pick up another pound and the young lady told me it was $9.00 or three bags for $20.00. Well I have a working understanding of third grade mathematics and I used both hands and soon figured out that was around $6.666666/lbs. so I left with three pounds. Life is good. Well better get back to this Nazi 1922 FN postola.

Beats DD all to heck
Having all of the choices we have here in these United States is just one of the many things that make this country GREAT!
Coffee ........ HOT and BLACK is the only way to enjoy coffee.
I don't get all those who junk it up with flavors, whipped cream, sugar, etc. and iced coffee is totally horrible.
Guess I'm just a simple person. I don't like good food junked up with crap. Like why would you put an egg on good tasting hamburger, or mushrooms on a super thick, tender juicy steak? Make no sense to me.
We have enough gun laws, what we need is IDIOT control.
Blood makes you related. Loyalty makes you family.
I thought getting old would take longer.

I'm 100% in agreement with you

Like most, I suppose, I started drinking coffee as a child, heavily laced with milk and sugar. But I grew up, and for the last half century or so, it's been just black. I do not drink "toy coffee" or "candy coffee" in any form. Certainly not any of that Starbucks crud that starts off horrible and gets worse with the addition of junk.
I will make an exception for a dessert cup of Irish Coffee, or some similarly booze-infused potion. But that's it.
(My recipe for "OMG Coffee Mix"... Mix equal parts of Creme de Cacao, Kahlua, Grand Marnier and brandy. Add 1 ounce of the mix to a regular 6-oz cup of black coffee. Guests will invariable take one sip and say, "OH. MY. GOD.")
I agree 100%
I have recently found that my tastes have changed when it comes to several food items I have always eaten with certain condiments.
I find that a hamburger now tastes so much better with a good slab of cheddar on a grill toasted buttered bun than it did with all the added slop I used to put on it!! I can actually taste the meat! 8-)
