Little League World Series

Big weekend for the LLWS. Coming on ABC shortly (9:30 AM Pacific Time) is Japan and Curacao for the International Championship playoffs. Hawaii is definitely the team to beat in the U.S. Championship playoff, coming on the same channel at noon, against River Ridge Louisiana.

    those louisiana kids have been the underdog all the way thru. hope they make a good showing.

    It would be nice if they could make a good showing, but I think that their two best pitchers have exhausted most all of thie pitches in the last two games...and Hawaii is big, good and strong, and their teams have been the ones to beat now for a few years running aside from the teams from Texas.

    River Ridge, LA, had to win six straight elimination games in eight days to win the title - that is truly an historic feat at this level of little league baseball!
