They can jump up and down and wave frantically with their Hands but the die is cast and the handwriting is on the wall, Texas is going to the Democrats.

GOP support is eroding in the suburbs surrounding Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio, four of the nation?s largest and fastest growing metro areas. That?s particularly worrisome to Republicans leery of Trump?s popularity with suburban voters.

There are fears that further slippage at the top of the ticket will cost the GOP House seats and potentially a majority in the state house. Democrats defeated longtime GOP incumbents in Houston and Dallas in 2018 and six other Republican House members won reelection by 5 points or fewer. Of those, Reps. Will Hurd, Kenny Marchant and Pete Olson are retiring, while Reps. Michael McCaul, Chip Roy and John Carter face tough reelection battles.

Does anyone recall how much TRUMP was predicted to lose in 2016 ???? Wasn't it somewhere between badly and VERY BADLY.

Plus, how do the current numbers show him losing? The Democraps don't have a candidate.

Looks like some here will never learn. If Trump loses then what happens? Depending it won't be good.

Hillary won the popular vote and local elections don't carry electoral votes, get a clue the state will /has turn purple and soon will be blue. You can bet it turns into a New Jersey or Maryland for total control of any and all gun rights! Al Green a local federal rep here is nothing but an Obama wanna be!

The same thing is happening in Texas, as is taking place in Florida. It's only a matter of time for both states to turn.

I put as much faith in the polls as I do in the weather forecast.

In a SURVEY of college students, about 74% refuse to express their conservative views on campus or to their teachers - fearing reprisals and being given poor grades based on their political belief.

interesting that both TX and FL could be considered border states where it seems like they get across and got right to the voting booth in appreciation for a lifetime gift of FREEBIES
