What's a decent tumbler that won't break the bank? At this point I don't see myself doing over 500 cases a year, so don't need a real high production machine.

I've been using white rice in my rotary tumbler for a while now, and it works great. I toss in about a half teaspoon of Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish, stir it in, let it run until dry, then toss in the brass. Seems like the blacker the rice gets, the better it works, and thankfully, that particular polish has no ammonia in it. Untreated, the rice also did a great job deburring an aluminum trigger guard fresh off the milling machine. Took several hours, as it was all I had to use at the time, but it did the job.
I use their trimmer like you bought (RCBS) and I custom made mine so as I can use a slow speed quick chuck electric screwdriver instead of the manual crank. I did not like their (RCBS) power convert kit.
I do a lot of trimming and case prep and I also have the RCBS case prep unit. Very handly, take a lot of work out of the boring case prep.
