Last week it was in the 80?F during the day and a little less at night. But this week it got to be in 60?F during the day and low 50?F need a hoodie to do my rounds. I reckon winter's gonna be cold and long this coming season but I am ready :D.

It's 34 degrees here this morning.

For this time of year, it's not unusual at all. Normally around the first of October we get a cool spell before the weather warms again in what is called "Indiana Summer" before the colder weather of winter and snow starts.....you know that takes place every year & also known as 'climate change'

PS: 50's and 60's is just "T" shirt weather.

montana literally had a couple days of fall. if you lived in Browning, on the Blackfoot Reservation, you are still digging out from the 51 inches of snow.otherwise generally between 10 and 20 inches. except here in the banana belt, temps have stayed in low 40s daytime to mid 20s night time. looks like winter, feels like winter.

88 here in S.W. Arkansas at noon. Compared to what we have had lately, just balmy. Supposed to cool down next week according to the weather guessers. We have been under a burn ban for almost three weeks. Doing a daily rain dance!!

    Seasons do come and go.

Here at the Jersey shore its cooling down.

Yesterday in the 90's and the ocean was swim-able at 68 degrees surf was high and undertow was pulling for beginners.

Bay water was cooler at 65 degrees since its shallower.

Contrary to the gloom and doom globalists. Looks like just another fall coming on...

Planted some grass seed 2 weeks ago figuring that it would get a good start. Hah, froze twice in the last 2 weeks.. Should do okay though.. Definitely an early fall here in the NW..

Quick&Dead - I thought Indian Summer was in September? That's how I schedule my vacations so I can sleep at night instead of during the hottest part of the day.

Yeah, from about 90* to 40* overnight. Reminds me of summer in Colorado.

Had my maple floors in the kitchen redone, sanded, poly coated.

Stench in the house was terrible. Opened a bunch of windows last night when I got home.

Woke up this morning to 58* in the house, and 37* outside.

Cranked on the furnace, and closed all the windows.

Supposed to be a high of 59* today.

And we?ve gotten so much rain in the last month, my yard is a soggy mess, can?t mow it, but the grass keeps growing like mad. Usually died back this time of year.

And having to keep on waiting to make hay on the headlands.

    SW Iowa here.
