Dodging the FLOTUS

Going to make run today to Powell Wyoming to pick up a mule using Yellowstone as our normal summer time short cut and likely the last one of the year.
Only difference to this trip is that the FLOTUS Melania Trump flew into Jackson Hole yesterday and will tour Grand Teton Nat'l Park and Yellowstone today.
I'm hitting the road shortly and hoping to be out the East gate before she makes to the South gate or it could get worse than a bear or Buffalo jam.

She was well received in Jackson and toured the square and met with the local Boy Scouts and spoke of her "Be Best" initiative.

She's a class act and a bonus of easy on the eyes.
Mule.

no matter how easy on the eyes, I still wouldn't want to sit in a traffic jam for hours to see her....... at least not when I was on my way to pick up Hillary Pelosi, or does the mule have another name?

I'd let Ferd kick you for that remark. and then I'd laugh.

I wouldn't stand in line to see her, but when SS detail and YNPS has the road blocked you're not going to have much say in it.
    Hence the somewhat early departure.

Of yea, she is easy on the eyes. But, I am like a few billion out of her league and besides, there is a chance Hillary might become available.:lol:

OK dpmule guess I do owe the mule an apology, and the shape I'm in you won't need the mule, I'm guessing any of your grandkids could do just as good a job, even if I was having a good day...... ;)

Referencing FLOTUS and grand tetons in the same thread is disrespectful.

    And yet, unavoidable.

Mother Nature allowed us to successfully dodge the FLOTUS, due to weather she never made it out of Grand Teton Nat'l Park,

But today for our return trip, Mother Nature got us, YNP roads were closed due to snow, so instead of a 225 mile short cut through the Park, we had to make our 425 mile winter route via Laurel, Bozeman, Ennis, bummer but made it unscathed and no speeding tickets.

Oh, and on trip over, saw one herd Bull Elk with his cows and a few raghorn satellites on the Madison river and a really pretty sow Grizzly on north end of the lake east of Fishing bridge, between Pelican creek and Sedge bay, lots of looky Lou's so it got rid of a lot of east bound traffic, really not a bad bear jam as bear jams go. Was able dodge a few vehicles stopped in the road, the rest were pulled off, never really even had to stop.
Snow line was ~7,100' with 8-10" at 8,300' crossing Sylvan pass just above the Eastgate.
