The creature that did this should be skinned alive, also.

An $8,000 reward is being offered for information in the case of a pet beagle that was found skinned-alive in southwest Missouri last month, police said Thursday.

Neosho police Lt. Jason Baird said the dog?s entire backside was removed from its neck to its tail and down to the top of its legs.

I don't get attached to animals like some folks. I mean I like them especially dogs and they deserve proper care but I don't consider them as important as people. I am not my dogs daddy or any of that mess. But I damn sure don't want to see them hurt or tortured. I have almost gotten into fights when I was younger and spent a lot of time on fishing piers. Dumb folks would catch a small sand shark or crab or whatever they didn't want and stab it or cut it up before throwing it back. Or just let it lay on the pier and die before throwing it back. You don't have the right to do that. I used to do a lot of work in research labs and they all had some kind of animals. Mostly rats but some like Harvard had primates and pigs as well. One place had goats. But one had a bunch of beagles and while they all seemed happy the beagles bothered me a little. Anyway this guy who skinned the dog?? He needs to be recycled. He will do that to people too. He should not get the chance.

There is something very sick about an individual who would do this.

well I do. why the hell should I regard people as more important than animals, when these frog-like creatures will insult, disparage or denigrate me on the slightest of whims, they lie to me constantly, rip me off or even break into my house to steal from me, all the while demand that I respect them, or they get angry for simply not treating them as more than equal and myself as less than equal to them? why should I respect them? why?? that's ridiculous. they don't deserve my respect. no animal does things like that; dogs are the most loving. tell me how it is that I can walk up to practically any dog and after a few weeks we are best friends. can you do that with people you meet? and you think they're better somehow?

those fishermen "have the right" to do those cruel things to the sea creatures they catch. there are no cops that put them in jail for that. but you see that what they do is "not right". how is that? keep going, maybe you'll come to understand that what people "have the right to do" has absolutely nothing to do with being right. they are so grievously backwards.

don't lie to yourself and say that this criminal should be stopped because he might do this to people. that's not the reason why. he should be stopped because what he did, to the dog, is disgusting. perhaps you should put that first in the list of reasons why he should be punished, and you'll be closer to the truth.

You have obviously mistaken me for someone who cares what you think. I assure I don't.

The perp is a psychopath; he needs to be locked up in a high security mental health facility for the rest of his life. If he is not caught, be will likely torture/kill people.

If this happened to one of my beagles this guy would have a very bad day. No dog deserves this. This is a sick individual and needs locked up and kept away from society.

A special place in Hell is reserved for people like that.

He needs reeducation. Tie him up, light a small bonfire on his crotch and explain to him why skinning a living animal is bad-

W/o better pictures, I call BS on this one. Not nearly enough blood on the pictured dog's head & legs for the type of injury described.

Like I wrote the article is lacking. There are other ways the hide could be taken off that dog other than a man with a knife. Could be some sick craphead did it, could be not.

In the ER I've seen a human arm that was de-gloved, it wasn't a man with a knife that did it.

There is nothing that can be done to achieve justice. If justice were possible it wouldn?t be allowed by ?society?. With that in mind I vote to simply put a couple of .22LR in his brain and try to forget the son of a * ever existed.
