if the republicans want it so bad, why don't they bring it to the floor for a vote????? even if they don't get it, it puts senile pelosi on the spot to make up some excuse to ignore vote request and then it is at least on the record.......

There is no impeachment vote because the Dems don't want to be on record voting for impeachment when all the allegations are false and fake rumors initiated by the Dems.

There is no 'there' and that is the fact.

Let's talk about the root cause of this "Impeachment," process, shall we. (This most recent one, not all the others.) :?

Trump has called the Ukrainian Government to look in to why Joe Biden's Son (Hunter) made out like a Bandit, while Old Joe and O'bummer were in Office. ($50,000/year as a "Consultant/Board of Directors member?") Let's not talk about the "Gifts," that made it's way in to his account. (Rumored to be apprx. $3 million dollars.)

Let's look at that, shall we?

Not to mention O'bummers newly aquired Mansion on Martha's Vineyard. (Requiring him to have "saved," apprx. 2 million dollars/year, while he was in Office.)

Not too bad for a "Community Organizer." Huh?

    No, nothing to see here.

    Move along now.
Ken I think that was 50 grand a month not year. And I don't know why all the uproar - he did promise to drain the swamp. Guess all them swamp dwellers are a little nervous. Bob

Voting for an impeachment inquiry would require that specific charges against President Trump be defined.

Currently, there is no specific impeachable offense that can be identified. The generic and non-specific 'impeachment inquiry ' has been brought forth so that committee chairs can claim subpoena power in their fishing expedition.

There is no real intent to impeach by the Democrat Party. There are those loons on the fringes that think it a good idea, but the party leadership only wants to have the 12 months leading up to the 2020 election be filled with the thousand cuts they believe will kill the re-election of President Trump. If you vote on specific charges and cannot prove them, you will lose. If you engage in open-ended investigation with no defined target, there is no defined end.
