I'm headed there in a bit to play in a Mid-States Poker Tour event this weekend. Of course all I'll see is my hotel and the casino. I just placed in a WSOP circuit event at the local casino so I'm free rolling right now. I've placed in a couple of these MSPT events before. Sure would be nice to win one of these big events. Be over 250K for first in this one.

My next post, if I do post, will be from Battle Creek. I've S%$# showered and shaved and I'm out of here.

SWEET!! I have played some years ago in New Orleans and Metropolis in a satellite events. Won the Orleans one and ousted on pocket Aces all in against pocket kings at Metro. A king flopped.:lol::lol::lol::lol:    :cry:
BEST of luck man, as you know, play the best and hope for that lucky break. Please post anyway. Love to hear I wasn't the only one that dabbled in WSOP poker.

    Thanks for the well wishes!

Got hurt in an event a couple of weeks ago on pocket aces in back to back hands. Guy played AJ in the first one and made a diamond flush with his jack, me with no diamond. The very next hand I had 2 players all in, they had KK, QQ and I had the AA, guy rivered a king.

    So goes poker yeh.

Firekeepers casino? Not a bad casino as Indian casinos go. Sorry you are about 2 hours away and I hate driving in the rain. Tomorrow there is a sporting clays shoot at my local club and we are committed for that. Good luck and know when to fold em' :) Bob

The hardest thing in poker. Have fun tomorrow. I'm going out the door now to look for vittles.

Well? I guess you did so well you don't need to associate with the riff raff here :) By the way can I borrow a measly 50 grand of your winnings? Bob
