They call themselves a firearm supporter, but jump straight to the ATF for nothing

I swear.....I run into one of these guys about once every 10 years. I don't think I could handle it any more often that this, so I'm thankful that its not a frequent thing.

I had two FFLs get mistakenly swapped for two of our sales.....so two guns shipped out to the wrong places. It was quickly found out and both FFLs were contacted. They were both great....very nice and had no problem with us emailing over the labels to fix the problem So, you move on. Everything is great in the world of firearm sales.

Then one of the buyers sends this long, rambling nonsense about how many ATF violations I've made and how he has contacted the ATF, filed a fraud complaint through Gun Broker, and goes on letting me know just how ridiculous he truly is. I mean he has no clue at all what is going on.....he thinks we "broke the law" and says he is going to tell his FFL to hold the wrong gun and not ship it back. He is pure crazy.....no doubt about it.

I think if you are the type of firearm person that uses threats to call the ATF all the FFLs should know it and they should have a list of these guys available so they can choose to do business or not with them.

As long as the two guns went to FFL dealers, there is violation. Sending the wrong rifle to a dealer (or the right rifle to the wrong dealer) is simply a mistake. Once corrected...no harm, no foul. Several years ago I did the same thing. Fortunately I caught the mistake in time and was able to get UPS to change the delivery addresses of both rifles with a no delay in delivery.

What gets me about this whole ordeal is how over the top unreasonable this guy is. It?s ridiculous that anyone thinks the ATF is something they should run to for a shipping mixup. You have to wonder if this same guy turns people into the IRS or other agencies for silly nonsense.

+1, Most likely, IMHO. Figure's, if he can raise enough hate and discontent. You will cut him a deal. Just to shut him up, if nothing else.

Most of the folks on the auction, are stand up. Unfortunately like in all of life. Your going to have run ins. With a small percentage of low life dirtbags. I haven't been on the auction in years. But still remember the woman, who won. One of my last one's. Then sent me a e-mail, that she was backing out, because she knew I was a crook, (because I lived in a trailer park). And was going to leave negative feedback on me. I guess she figured if she would threaten me. I wouldn't leave bad feedback on her. Needless to say she was mistaken.

 I can make an easy guess what the FFL is going to tell him!

Kasey, what you have is a card carrying member of the (D) party. They are sure Governments job is to fix every problem they face in life and to punish those they "feel" transgressed against them. He is the guy that will turn his AR-15 over to Beto the fake Mexican, getting in line to show how much he trusts government.

either fishing or the "wrong gun" that was mistakenly sent to his FFL in worth more than the rifle he bought, and he is just trying to make out......

Looks to me he has not too much say. It went to his FFL who will correct the issue with you.

They will love you in the big house.

It is run by federal DOC employees not intelligent enough to work for ATF.
I can't believe they misspelled "Pork and Beans!"
