    The fact that he was sailing to the East Indies not withstanding? Where I live it is Indigenous Peoples Day. We don't celebrate no lost fool Spaniard.

    The principal reason we ain't celebrate him in New Mexico. :lol: He did sail for Spain, Isabella and Ferdinand. He was married to a Portuguese woman and had a Castilian mistress, making him truly international. Still he never found the East Indies.

    What I find kind of funny is they blame a guy who was exploring and finding new country's when the main blame for the destruction of the indigenous peoples in the Caribbean and South and Central America can be laid at the feet of the Catholic Church and the Spanish Monarchy.

    Blaming Columbus is like blaming the guy who discovered Uranium for Nuclear war its irrational and hypocritical, but then again they are libtards.
