Sadly i have not been in my shop very much this year. My goal was to have the shop cleaned up and start making things in January.

However if i worked 40 hours a week it would be April or May before i could get it cleaned out. Its 20x20 and is stacked about 5 to 8 foot high all through the shop.

I am really really bad with time. Last year or earlier this year i was working in the shop and went and got a drill bit and drilled some holes in my trailer for lights. When i put the drill bits back in place there was about a 3 and 1/2 foot snake skin crawled over my box which was closed the whole time. However the skin was split so i do not know how long it really was.

The really good news is in my experience all the poisinous snakes i run into here are small and fat.

However today i went in the shop to get a tool and a snake skin was in the exact same spot as last year or earlier this year.

Im not being funny but it was within inches either direction and this was about 6 to 7 foot long so im guessing black snake. The whole skin is there.

Its funny none of my kids or wife will go in my shop except me or my daughter. LOL She has a small python that will only get about 3 or 4 feet at most.

Blacksnakes leave skins in my shed every summer. I've had quite a few of those little ring-neck compact models as well.

I had a big pile of chain in there and the snakes loved it! Slithering through those steel links must be super-cooling. When time comes to flee it is fun watching them try to wind out of all those links. Haha.

Send a silenced 22 slug into that pile of chain and its over for mister No-hips.

Calm down -- We don't shoot good snakes.
I can't believe they misspelled "Pork and Beans!"
