Mark I apologize. I was trying to warn folks that my auction for a Colt SSA was stolen and posted on another site. Again sorry.

Not my rule...but it is a rule:

    Other stuff we automatically delete:
?Auction tech support or billing questions. If you have a tech support or billing question click Help Center from the top of any auction site page.
?Complaints or criticism about GunBroker.com, its staff, its policies, or any buyer or seller on that site. If you have a problem with an auction transaction use the auction feedback system and/or contact tech support.
?Complaints or criticism about these message forums or their moderators.
?Complaints about businesses, persons, or transactions unrelated to this site (in general all complaints will be deleted).
?Questions about why a post was deleted or moved. This page explains why.
?Commercial advertisements for any product, service, or web site.
?Posts containing links or references to any competing site.
?Posts containing links or references to any web site critical of this site.
?Posts containing links or references to any web site we do not like.
    ?Profanity, nudity, vulgarity, racism, etc.
?Posts that violate any federal, state, or local law, or that infringe on another party's intellectual property (copyright, trademark, etc.) are prohibited.
If we deleted your post it means that we did not want it here. If we delete a post and you re-post it, access privileges will be suspended.

Very nice of Mark not to delete your post Ricci! Did you try and make contact with the other site and expose the crook for stealing your auction and selling a non existent (in their hands) Colt?

It's Sat and they aren't answering the phone so I will try Mon morn. I registered with their site so I could post a warning on their forum but you have to have three feedbacks before starting a thread so no joy. Wish I could find out who stole it but beyond my capabilities. I am glad someone notified me. I sent him a thank you.

GB is not perfect- but in my mind it is the only reputable place to buy/sell online.

I personally don't think we need that rather long list of rules.

    2 rules should suffice. :D

    1. Do not bad mouth GunBroker.
    2. Do not bad mouth Elvis.
I can't believe they misspelled "Pork and Beans!"

GB needs to put a transparent GB watermark on all the pictures posted.. that would stop many picture theft or spam post on other sites

They also lift pictures off the General Discussion forum. I know google does because somebody tried to sell one of my rifles that was pictured here, then on Google, then off to sell. I was contacted by a guy that asked if I was selling that particular rifle because he remembered seeing the picture on here.
