84, see if they will allow you to use a bipap. Soclean as seen on tv most likely the best cleaner..

I was always getting cold and sniffle when using my Bi-Pap. I cleaned it as the instructions stated.

I bought a small $ 20.00 machine from amazon that uses ozone, I've had that for about 6 months and no sniffles or colds (must work).

Yes if you can get the Bi-Pap machine, allows easier to breath out than the constant flow of the Cpap. Study up on the difference

About the worst night ever, sleep apnea test. Away from home noisy surroundings, head rubbed raw and a thousand wires running ever where, you name it.
Test said I was borderline. Person that did the test said that if you snored you had apnea, told him the dog snored and he didn't have a answer for that.
Wife snores and she had the test, she does not have the sleep problem.
Tried the face mask type, nasal pillow type, nothing works for long. Sleep good for about 2 hours then off it comes. This is the CPAP version.
Many swear by it, the best sleep ever. Glad it works for some.
Neighbor uses the BPAP works great for him but I think it all but breathes for you.
Keep you eyes open around people in the morning, you will be surprised by the number of people with strap marks on their face.

Soap and water when needed, and a mask wipe when I take it off in the morning. That's really all that's needed if you keep your humidifier water fresh.

Do some reading on CPAP forums about these specialty machines. Most all of the experts say they are a worthless rip off. As always,....YMMV.

Discussed that with my pulmonologist's tech. She said that use of Soclean voids the warranty of the CPAP machine she sells everyone. She said just use soap & water.

    Thanks for the replies,comments.
We bought the 'Lumin'. Was recommended by several elsewhere and has great reviews. Cleans anything that will fit in the drawer. Cleans with a UV bulb. No water,no Ozone.

Passed on the 'SoClean'. Voids warranty of several types of machines. Cleans using Ozone. Ozone can/has caused many lung issues for users of this machine. Numerous lawsuits filed, including class action.

Even with a 'cleaning machine', it was still recommended to hand clean periodically.
