Anybody missing a rifle scope????

Driving south on RT 22 along Lake Champlain, on the Vermont side this afternoon. Lying in the road was a rifle scope....unfortunately I had an eighteen wheeler flirting with the rear end of my truck or I would have pulled over and retrieved it. Somebody got home from deer hunting, and is scratching their head....

yep,after 7 missed shots on a trophy buck,thats where it went out the window on the way home,,

Quite possible that it had a rifle attached to it before the metal hit the road. Been many a object set on roofs of vehicles only to be forgotten.
