    Yes, several times. One of those you can watch again. Grapes Of Wrath is another one I review at least twice a year.

    I watched a movie with the same title once with an old girl friend. Don't think that it had the same plot though....come to think of it, it never even had a plot... ;):lol:

    It's a western, but not the conventional western film we are used to seeing. The supporting cast is outstanding, but Aldo Ray, whose character, if I remember right, has no "name", steals the show. The best way to describe the Ray character would be Liberty Valance, but with fewer redeeming qualities. On screen, Aldo Ray always seemed to be the character he portrayed, and he never looked like he was acting. Ray may be the best known actor who never became "famous".

    Great discription of Ray MarkC.

    I don't think he even has any lines in the movie other than yelling and a evil laugh.

    Aldo Ray was a great star but be didn't go with the flow and was a PITA to producers and Directors. He was also a drunk.

    It was said he lit a cigarette the coolest way of ANY actor.

    He was good in the Green Berets and the Korean War movie I cannot remember the name of where he was driving a COL around in a Jeep who couldn't talk and was shell shocked when they link up with a lost patrol.
