The beans are finally in the bin.....Now if we can get a few dry days, the corn will be next....we got in late this year due to the wild weather
her in Central MO....it will be good to be done....

    Glad you're about done. How big of a reel do you run, and what type of ground speed do you travel at? Guessing maybe a 20 foot reel around 3.7 or so?? We don't harvest anything like that around here in western Oregon.

    I will admit my ignorance to those questions. Our family farm has been worked by the neighbor for over 40 years. He does the heavy work and provides most of the equipment....It has been a good arraignment for all of us all these years..

    I can relate. My family owned an 80 A. plot that was "farmed out". When may Dad passed I ended up selling the acreage to the farmer.
