With his 7 yr. career record at 42 wins and 69 loses plus all the negative baggage he carries he doesn't even deserve a look-see....but sadly some fool will offer him a contract

I don't like the guy, but if he can meet the requirements I have no problem with him getting a chance to play again. I personally don't think he has the skills to play but let the teams make that decision. I have worked with plenty of people over the years that I don't agree with on everything but we were professional and did our jobs. The press would naturally make a big issue of his return if it happens. I guess I see him like I did Danica Patrick. An average performer (at the professional ranks) getting the press of a superstar performer.

I haven't watched a NFL game since all that transpired (no joke). I did hear that last weekend for veterans day they had some stipulations regarding kneeling. I caught it all 2nd hand, but it kinda sounded like the NFL is now trying to do some damage repair. Who knew that pissing off much of your core customers would make them leave?!?

Makes no difference to me if they hire him or not. I already quit watching the NFL and it turns out I don't miss it.

It's a publicity stunt for the NFL to say..."we gave him a chance".. so they can cover their *. When has there ever been a "tryout" in the middle of the season, for anyone?? Tryouts are for pre season evaluations, not some crap stirring POS who tried to make a statement, that backfired on him, and can't make it in the NFL??? Who in the hell is he trying out with anyway? I would surely think that any current professional player would be with their team since it's the middle of the frickin' season.. Oh, maybe they're second rate players.. Worthless tit.. This way the NFL can say that it was the coaches who didn't want him, and it's not "our fault"..

    Okay, rant over............for now.. ;)

This CYA for the NFL so they don't have to give him more money(Which they shouldn't have in the 1st place).

He is fool to even show up nobody wants his sorry *..........he is not even a has been he is a never was and if it wasn't for his anti-american garbage he would have been cut sooner.

I hope he breaks his leg and jaw. Then he won't be kneeling or talking.

In the first place caponnecker :D is paying for this 'try-out' by himself, the NFL is not paying for anything. He and his agent cooked this up in order to get some interest going since he's been sitting out for the last 3 years. It was originally set for a Tuesday which is a day the NFL reserves for getting things done after all the games are played over the weekend and they aren't traveling. The NFL stipulated Saturday as the day even though most teams and coaching staff are traveling for the Sunday games.

Currently, 24 teams have reportedly said they would attend. This will demonstrate that he was given a fair chance to show off his prowess without animosity. Then when the teams go back to their offices they can officially state that they don't need him.

Who would want this caterwauling, whining little snot after everything that has gone on? Let him sit and stew, rejected by all his peers as being useless.

    Best.
