any way one fellow I traded a lot with came in one day with a Ruger single action 44 mag and a another 44 mag I knew nothing or had ever seen or heard of but seemed like a nice built gun over all it turned out to be a JP SAUER & SOHN 44 single action almost a copy of the Ruger .
only one I have ever seen
I ended up trading it a a pawn shop ( owner was a decent fellow and told me about the company who made it .. ) traded for a nice canon film camera set up .. I got bit by the photo bug thanks to a BIL
If I had to guess, I would imagine that they are buying guns that have been cut by "someone" else before they got them. I note that all have been cut with a bandsaw (instead of a torch or shredder).
If they cut them before they sell them, they are missing out on their "NFA" items. Who would cut a wood stock before they sell it?

You would have to be one cold dude to do that to a Python.
Anyone know what that is stuck on the end of the M1903 barrel?
