Sam, I see the seller is in Grand Rapids MI. I live only 130 miles from there and would be happy to pick it up for you!

With my luck, just going to that page on the website I'd probably hit the buy it now button by mistake! :(

Pretty sure that owner is not only proud of his possession but is only offering it up for grabs on account of an angry wife!

That is mighty white of you BW

1st thing I need to do is an extra 5 mill I can spend on a gun that doesn't fire and I could replicate for a grand

Some dude with more money than sense will scoop it up, maybe even Ford will buy it he has at least eleventymillion dollars.

    Firing pin is cut off.

Check out the photos where the hammer is cocked back.

Unless there is another thing done to it that would be an easy fix.

The best fix for that one is to leave where it is.Maybe the same people that buy from Barret-Jackson will buy it.

I was reading the description where they sent a new gun in to give it a worn patina. Or, you know, they could have just bought a more well used gun to start with.
At least it looks like they were afraid of another Bruce Lee (and later Brandon) incident with getting shot on set.

    1. I agree that does not meet the US definition of having been rendered permanently inoperable. The receiver torch cut into 3 or more sections (not bandsawed) or the whole thing melted.

    2. For 5 large, I would expect it to be delivered in person by Harrison. And throw in the whip and the scimitar.

Certainly not worth the price asked IMO.

Odds are the buyer, if any, would be a person with more money than God.

We have enough gun laws, what we need is IDIOT control.

I thought getting old would take longer.

After all the wear & tear in the movie, and modified to be non-firing, he still lists the condition as Factory New.

If you got 5 million to spend on that you probably got enough money to get around anything else or pay the attorneys to take care of it :)

Personally even if I had 1000000000 Trillion I wouldn't pay 5 million for that gun
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

"hey! I got the very gun Indiana Jones had in the movie! I paid 5 million dollars for it!"

    "so?!?"

5 mil well spent :?

...or you could buy a real one for a few hundred that actually shoots bullets...
