was just taking my hunting stuff downstairs to set in garage for tomorrow, got about 3 trips done figured I would take the rifles down too, I have a large 2-3 gun case I put 2 rifles in and all the ammo, got all the way to last 3 steps and turned to start the gun case over the banister and turned wrong hip gave out and went down last 2 steps, I am fine just little sore but the gun case fell about 5 feet and I ended up on it...%*^*# guess I will find out in the morning if the scopes are off, season doesn't start till monday morning so have time to sight it in, only had one box of shells left for the 8MM, guess I will head back down this afternoon and load up another 20 or so in case the scope is off, got plenty for the other two 30-06, and 357, we have an elevator chair for the steps and other stuff I stacked in it and ran them down should have just layed rifle case over the arms and ran it down,oh well guess it will give me something to do tomorrow before the poker game starts......

Be careful you don't want a busted hip.

If it?s a hard case and padded inside, I?d say you?re good. Wouldn?t hurt to check zero, though.
    Hope your hip is alright.

Sounds like you need a little cabin therapy to recoup...

all is good caught myself on handrail and never went all the way down, but that is why I dropped the rifle case, anytime I turn with my body instead of my feet it causes a sharp pain in hip. just finished 24 rounds of 8MM and went ahead and loaded 9, 30-06 had the empty brass just laying there so went ahead and filled em up while had scale set up, should be good to go few more years if scopes still on, time now for few beers and colledge football....
