Anyone see it or subscribe?
I just yesterday received a complimentary issue to try to get a subscription out of me.
I noticed the return address on the envelope was Santa Clara, California, so I figured what kind of commie rag is this.
So this morning, I thought I'd give it a look prior to depositing it in file 13. It was actually not bad and had some articles that piqued my interest.
One in particular was an opinion article featuring Scott Adams, creator of "Dilbert" and his new book,
"Loserthink: How Untrained Brains Are Ruining America".
I thought the article was interesting enough that I'm going to get the book and give it a read. If it passes muster, then try to get my kids to read.
Guess a book report will follow, unless someone on here has read it and can chime in.
But no, it wasn't interesting enough for me to spring for a subscription.

In my world news papers have always been something you had to buy, either from a retail vendor or as a delivered subscription. Of the "free" news papers they had enough ads in them to support their publications and turn a profit for the publisher. Most news papers are gone now so we get a lot of our news articles from the internet. I pay for internet service. There is no such things as a free lunch and that includes news.
any way she subscribed and gets a newspaper delivered here and also on line
I have not really read much of it to form a opinion , but my wife stays on top of the latest political news even around the world .
and seems to like there information
