A group of sharp-eyed Customs and Border Protection officers were hardly out to lunch when they seized 154 pounds of illegal Mexican bologna on Thursday.
Travelers are banned from bringing nearly all pork products, including bologna, into the U.S. in order to protect the domestic pork supply from foreign diseases.
The meat seizure was made shortly after 9am at the Bridge of the Americas international crossing in El Paso, after a Chevrolet pickup with a Texas license plate entered the port from Mexico.
During inspection, a CBP officer spotted some suspicious red rolls behind the rear seat of the truck and began grilling the driver.

Would that be pure or mixed with 'disappeared' people. :?:

Blood makes you related. Loyalty makes you family.
I thought getting old would take longer.
Since the death of Farmer Peet and the company that made that brand quite a few years ago, my favored product is made in Flint Michigan under the name of Kogel. There was a local Polish meat place that did a very good job of producing good bologna but they were bought out by some younger family members who went lazy and cheap and totally ruined the business.
I was thinking the same thing.
There was a Movie with Lee Marvin in it where these guys put a guy in a sausage machine and shipped the sausage to Lee's mobster boss. Gene Hackman was in it too.
I think it was called Prime Cut
