Looking for a Remington 700 Short Action Detachable Magazine Assembly. Wanting the standard Remington unit consisting of the floor plate that houses the Remington short action magazine and the connecting screws. Will take it with or without the magazine. Prefer the silver model but would consider the blued

I thought they would be really nice so I bought several guns with them from the factory. After just a few seasons, I found that I hated them, all of them, no matter what I was using it for (competition, bench, varmint, medium and large game). They are way too noisy to use while hunting, and have to pull them out just to top off a round, again more noise. One other very small complaint is that is where I carry my rifles sometimes and the checkered release tabs can rub wrong after a while.
If you are looking for factory Remington parts, it might take a bit, watch the auctions.
I found these:

If aftermarket will do and you don't like what you find above, there is a good selection at Brownells: https://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/receiver-parts/index.htm?avs|Make~~Model_1=Remington__700&k=detachable&ksubmit=y&f_a=1
Most likely always needs a little dremel work to complete.
I already own (3) of these DBM model 700 short action rifles and I am try to build another. I really just need the trigger and magazine housing, but I'm will to take the entire group. Thank You for the comments.
