The Democrats have committed suicide

After the totally partisan hearings by shifty shift and yesterday by Nadler, this AM Pelosi announced the House will go forward with their attempt to bring impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

This will backfire on the Democrats big time since the vast majority of the United States population do not believe the allegations. The entire time and shortly before Trump was sworn in at President of the United States, the Democrats have sought to demean and destroy this president. That avenue has taken precedence over all else which is why this Congress has been ineffective with the Democrat controlled House of Representatives.

Should the house pass the articles of impeachment, it then goes to the Senate where it will die. :D

The Democrats have committed suicide thru their attempts to discredit the voters of the United States and the electoral college.
The government has no rights. Only the people have rights which empowers the government.

The problem is the libtard whacko's and fringe nut jobs are who the demcraps are pandering to, not their real constituents. The other problem is the democraps are controlled by the media, the media is the democrat party.

I think the majority of Americans would like for the Dims to just get over their butt-hurt, quit wasting time/money and get back to running this country! And stop meddling in China's affairs...and Iran and Iraq and France and Russia and Ukraine and...
I can't believe they misspelled "Pork and Beans!"

The base-line facts are that President Donald Trump asked the President of Ukraine for assistance in uncovering the truth about potential conflict of interest and/or corruption in then VP Joe Biden's actions towards the Ukrainian Government considering his son's privileged relationship with a Ukrainian energy company.

It is naive to think that the President of Ukraine did not feel pressured to comply, and it is naive to think that pressure was not linked to the official position of the US in some fashion. There is no smoking gun directly linking the pressure to investigate the possible attempted influence by Ukraine in the 2016 election and/or the investigation of the stinking cesspool that was the Biden. It is impossible, however, for reasonable people to honestly ignore the possibility and even probability of said linkage given the totality of the interactions with all parties.

That said, do we really want to create a system whereby a legitimate investigation into the truth of potential corruption or obvious conflicts of interest are ignored simply because a foreign state is best positioned to investigate and the target is a potential candidate for national office?

During the impeachment hearings, the Democrats constantly referred to the Hunter Biden controversy as debunked and discredited. It is obviously not debunked or discredited because it is know to have existed concurrent with Pappa Joe being the shill President's point man on Ukraine.

My opinion (which I know you all are dying to hear  ) is that Trump made a significant mistake in making this request on a personal and non-public level. A search for the truth, however, cannot not be used as a pretense for impeachment, as it was obvious that Congress, the State Department and the AG's office were not pushing the matter.

The oversight responsibility of Congress in this case is to get the full truth to the American people so that in November of 2020 we can make an informed decision both about President Trump, and, if his is the Democrat candidate, Joe Biden.

The funnest outcome would be for the Senate to convict and remove Trump from office, and Trump then winning the office back in the 2020 election. It would demonstrate to Congressmen on both sides of the aisle how little we think of their partisan shenanigans.
Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

Do they think that if Trump is impeached and removed, Hillary will replace him?

It's all political. Sanders as a Independent yet debating on stage withe the Dems.

Dems are playing the hearing to the hilt since they know they can't win on their accomplishments. Willing to bet that
the Dems will make the voters hate the word impeach so much that many Dems won't vote. Others will vote R.

I think the Dems are standing on their foreskin and don't know it. I don't know of one Pres that has been removed from
    office by impeachment. Nixon resigned.

I also think several Dems will not vote to impeach since they are up for reelection. The Senate will never vote tom impeach and the Dems know it.

These hearings are for show only.

I will give Don's last paragraph some traction. If one takes a long hard look back on Hillary past being the First Lady of Arkansas and at the Rose law firm dealings, a rational person would say no way am I voting for her. It would take pages to fill up the negative column on her. Running all over the globe holding out her hand as Secretary of State, just make out a check to the Clinton Foundation and everything will work out for you. She misjudged the electoral vote and was stunned on Election Night, did not even have the class to make a concession speech, so sure of being elected. She hates Donald Trump for what he managed to accomplish as do most Dummycrats. It is possible that come next election night, that Trumps base and many more of the American people will vote him in again. I think folks are growing increasingly weary of the BS that is going on in the Halls of Congress.

I was there in Albany when he flew in on his chopper after they jammed the NY Safe(unsafe) Act of 2013 down our throats. He wanted no part of being drafted for Governor. I think he wanted to be President of the US and drain the swamp. There is plenty I don't like about President Trump but I still support him.

Well, I hope that people don't forget to come out and vote.
And Clinton is as dirty as a bar mop and everyone knows it. The left are capable of trying anything, so watch what happens the next 11 months.

Fact is, 80% of the public is sick and tired of the Trump bashing and this whole failed Russia thing and now the impeachment circus the Dems are attempting ... while doing nothing of importance for the citizenry of the country, including members of their own party. The only support the Dems have are from brainwashed idiots and the lying news media.

The repercussions are being felt already as shown here :
