BRNO 21 Scope Mounts

I've bought a BRNO 21H in 8mm Mauser. I was aware the butter-knife bolt handle required high rings and I'd have to be careful about using a scope with a small rear bell. Figured it wouldn't be too much of a challenge ....

Looks like every CZ type ring maxs out at about .535 (base to bottom of ring) and even with the old Redfield "TV" rear bell I'm coming up short. From what I've read CZ brand rings were offered in .700, which would definitely clear, but they're nowhere to be found. Highest I see is .550 and I think that's still too short.

I found EAW rings:

Am I correct on the following - 25.4mm is a 1" tube, 18mm = .71" which should make them high enough.

Also found EAW steel rings at NECG, but they're shown as 26mm - is that going to work with a 1" scope tube?

These are .671 high and that should work. But at $190.00 a set, I'm hoping to find a more "economical" set of rings.

I don't want to use a one piece adapter that will allow for Weaver type rings, want to keep this "period correct". Any suggestions?
