    Conflict with Iran?

Iran has been in conflict (at war) with the United States for some 4 decades....but the USA has opted not to participate in the conventional sense.

The impeachment has no meaning on it's face.

Not sure what you mean by 'offset'.

Pelosi has decided to table impeachment for now so she can present it to the Senate at a more politically opportune time.

Also, while Americans typically rally around the Commander in Chief in time of war, the dynamic in play today is such that it is impossible to think a conflict with Iran will change the vote of many.
