Can anyone identify this small artillery(?) shell?

Measures approx. 1-5/16" diameter x 3-11/16" long....3/4" brass band...3/4" threaded hole in base. Thanks all !!

Maybe too big for 30mm and too small for a 35mm.  Looks like a practice round to me, but ya never know.

From the location of the driving band. It looks like 37 X 136 R shell. That was used during the First World War.

No writing on the base? Sure looks like a 37 mm Hotchkiss.
