Our first grandchild is due in April so we are turning one of the guest bedrooms into a nursery. Wifey took me shopping today, wow how things have changed, first off baby furniture is expense.
Second, baby monitors have changed a bunch, when our kind were little they were just one way receivers, now they are two way audio, with the camera you can pan left/right, up/down and zoom in and out. Some have a remote with a screen about the size of a smart phone, some of them you can connect to your smart phone via an app.
All this new stuff is really cool.

This is similar to her set and its less than $600 for the entire set....which is a great deal. I'd rather spend a bit and not have to ever buy another one. We got just the bed for our house because the bedroom we put it in is the spare bedroom for whenever the kids come over and we need to keep the queen size bed in there for when that happens.
