They lost over 30 people yesterday by Russian air attacks! Putin is backing Syria and NATO will be backing Turkey.
What could possibly go wrong? When it rains it pours! Russia is an old enemy of Turkey for hundred of years.

Russia and Turkey failed to reach an agreement during talks in Moscow aimed at taking steps to ease violent unrest in the Syrian province of Idlib, Russia's top diplomat said on Wednesday.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Syrian government forces, which have been undertaking an offensive in Idlib, were upholding previous agreements on the region but also reacting to provocations. Militant attacks on Syrian and Russian forces in Idlib were continuing, he said.

Russia and Turkey back opposing sides in the Syrian civil war, which is nearing its ninth year, with Moscow supporting Syrian President Bashar Assad's forces and Ankara backing some rebel groups.

A few weeks ago Turkey and Russia were big buddies.  Turkey was buying defense stuff from them.  Turkey just can't make up their minds who they want to be friends with
Russia would clean their plow in about 15 minutes.

Turkey shot down two Syria aircraft for tit and tat reprisals and is calling for NATO to join the fight!~ A pandemic then a good hot war what's next starvation for food? Oh wait I forgot a wave of Desperate  Muslims immigrants crossing into Europe! Greece is already being invaded by thousands of them! Here comes The U.N. with The NWO after some chaos of course.

That being said, Ankara has found a way to ensure that European nations do not flat-out ignore the situation. Just recently, Turkey reportedly opened up the Idlib border to allow an influx of Syrian refugees to flee to Europe, which will surely magnify regional tensions to a significant extent.

ANSWER: “Article 5 The principle of collective defence is at the very heart of NATO’s founding treaty. It remains a unique and enduring principle that binds its members together, committing them to protect each other and setting a spirit of solidarity within the Alliance...

NATO has taken collective defence measures on several occasions, for instance in response to the situation in Syria and in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine crisis.
