I just found these two guys and really like their videos. They test all kinds of service rifles and do it well. Good shooter and good spotter.

    Ken that rifle s in 7.62x51 and he is using match ammo. 

    That was good shooting especially with a PO scope....................but

    I have never been impressed with a SVD, the reason why is the ammo.  Commie ammo is garbage and I disagree with you on the 7.62x54R the cheap commie ammo is crap oh it hits hard but it is not consistent enough to be used in a precision weapon.  I know you can find all kinds of videos on it being the next best thing to sliced bread but my experience with it is negative. 

    I have shot thousands of rounds through many different SVD's and never found any of them much better than a 3 min gun and most were worse.  IMO this was due to the ammo.  I have used what the Russians call match ammo and it still sucked.
