New Prescription Insurance

I went ahead and  ordered my  mediation for the next  three months,. Just inc ase the  Covid=19 has  get out of hand.    Was  trying h to figure  out how to pay for all of it.
 I was paying  out of  pocket over  $ 1200.00 for  three months  for  Diabetes medicine.   Out Deductible  did not kick in till after  $ 3500.00.  I  had been taking money out of savings and using  Credit Cards to pay of it. (Express Scripts).

But.... First of the  Year, my Wife's  company  changed the Insurance  Carrier for  prescriptions.
 Now  the new one  (CVS Caremark) has a Cap on Co-pay of  $ 150.00 on medication for  three months.  Wow what a difference !!
 Now  I  can start putting  some $$$ back in to savings. .

    yep...sounds good....one has to figure premium cost, deductible, then pill cost,divided by quantity to get the real cost....compared to walk in and fill prescrip pay cash...Eliquis is horribly expensive compared to Warfarin but seems to agree with me better

    I switched from Novalog and Lantus to 70/30. From $1800 for 3 months to $124. 70/30 is $24 a vial.
