I saw some metal sculpture done by a guy in your neck of the woods.

Fella by the name of Wayne Arnson.

Pretty incredible work! Thought you might know of him, since LaGrande isn't exactly a sprawling metropolis.

    I've heard the name, but don't know him personally.  There's a surprisingly large number of 'arteests' in the area. 
    I think my wife and I have one of his bird sculptures that was given to us as a wedding gift.   It's about a 3' tall Great Blue Heron and is really cool.

    Yes, I've seen many of his birds, and they're quite impressive. He's some 2nd cousin or great uncle to my wife and that's how I came to know of his work.
