Bid question continued

OK-Went threw what I thought I had to go threw to receive e-mail's when bidding.  Didn't work.  I stopped bidding on 2 items and won't bid again until I feel comfortable in being able to receive the standard e-mail notices.  Just don't understand why the powers to be aren't able to correct some of the many problems?  Certainly would benefit all.
