'Rosalind P. Walter, 95, First ‘Rosie the Riveter’ Dies.

A wealthy young lady that could have just sit the war out in comfort but she went to work 
driving rivets into the metal bodies of Corsair fighter planes at a plant in Connecticut on the night shift.

May she RIP.

    My thoughts too.   While those making noise get the attention most Americans are quite, productive, dependable members of our society and good citizens of the USA.   That includes the young adults and teens.   If hands on deck are called for, Americans will show up.

    You're darn right! My mother at the age of 20, drove a 1937 Studebaker with bald tires from Minnesota to Seattle, by herself, and went to work in a torpedo factory in Keyport, Washington.

    A lot of those folks supporting the American effort actually died from industrial accidents.  Always overlooked the folks who made the items of war .  Still continues today..
