This made me look.  I've only got about 65 of the "mega rolls", I may have to slow down my eating to make them last.
Got me to look as well,.....180 of the Charmin double rolls, and 24 of the Mega rolls. I bought this stash WAY before this virus was even heard of, simply because of the deal I found. Probably an easy years worth for me. There is no shortage of TP around here, just hand sanitizer and masks.

Catawba worms are the best fish bait for bream . At one time we had about 100 trees on the farm. Sold many thousands of them back in the day

I seem to recall a toilet paper shortage in the early 70's. I think I was in the 7th or 8th grade and there was no TP to be found in the local stores, but my mother could shop at FedMart (if anyone remembers that place

For unknown reasons I couldn't get the "reply with quote" to separate from the quote so I posted it this way.
I was thinking it was in the 1960s, but it probably was the early 1970s.  I thought I had forgotten about it.  It started on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson as one of his stupid jokes.  After it took hold you couldn’t find a roll of toilet paper with a search warrant.  They had a hell of a time getting the public to believe there really was still toilet paper in the Good Old USA.  Every night the lead story on the nightly news was “the toilet paper shortage is a hoax”.  Johnny Carson did a nightly skit about it.  I don’t think he ever saw anything but humor in it.

I warned everyone years ago.  Said TP would be the new currency when the SHTF.  Lol.

All this talk about how Bernie Sanders would have us in bread lines and here we are in long lines for staples like TP and bottled water under Trump.

Where haven't seen a single line here?
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

Exactly, this is old news here on GBGD.  By now we all know the have our basement wall lines 3 cases deep with TP to protect our cases of bourbon.  TP 3 cases deep will stop a lot of bullets and it's still functional after the fire fight.  A drink of whiskey and a clean * go along way toward life's comforts.
