    About a week into this BS I sold off a bunch of stock that were still in the green and in the not too red.  Man, am I glad I did.  Now I’ve got a large chunk of cash for when things stop spiraling.  
    I’m just hoping that in the effort to manage this financial crisis the govt doesn’t screw with my military retirement or my social security.

    Not funny at all but everyone knew the markets were way too hot and had risen too far too fast on "cheap" borrowed money. Time for a reset anyway virus is just a good excuse.

    Yup. No emotion, sell early, screw the market, tell everyone else to "ride it out".
    Me, I'm conservative as heck and am still down 6% since it all started. Got a few bucks on the side which may go into my IRA.

    I got a friend, he ain't lost a nickel. The value of zero money in the market. But he does have a nice garage stuffed full of "artifacts".

    This whole thing has Soros fingerprints all over it, he's done this before. Bank of England in 1992, but got stopped, he was convicted, and paid a pocket change fine compared to what he made from it. Again in 1997 to Thailand, they put a death warrant on him. He set off the crash here in 2007-08. Fed reserve saw it happening and convinced Bush to shut it down.
    He has vowed to destroy the US, and his puppet Obama gave it a good try. Left wing media are his puppets too, impeachment fails, common flu panic fueled by the fake news media, stocks plummet. Who do you think is going to richer from this?

    You're sick.  Many of your fellow gun owners have lost and will continue to loose hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars, their lives are and/or will be ruined and you think its funny????  The real question is when is Nasty Pelosi and the rest of the Demoncraps going to call off their Chinese collaborators?  Ms. Nasty had a Chinese spy on her payroll for how many years?  Six months ago, she proudly announced that it "may take some economic hardship to get rid of Trump" but crashing the entire world's economy?  How nasty can Ms. Nasty be????

    Fed move today done nothing. Market is running on fear.  Funny how when it goes bad the folks want the Govt to bail them out. Trump hasn't done anything yet. The congress/ senate virus bill might help a little but no side bets on that.  Tomorrow is going to be a killer drop since futures are down. Bottom could go another 15%. Lows now are July 2017 level. So much for all those folks that thought they were making money.

    Stock market investments are just a part of personal financial sovereignty.   The stock market does not control the economy and is only a small indicator of the economy in general, unless the whole economy tanks few people will lose anything.   If someone has leveraged their stock holdings enough to cause them "ruin" that is them being foolish or taking an informed gamble.   You only lose in the market if you sell at a loss or have heavily leveraged your holdings .   If a temporary market adjustment ruins you, you had nothing of real value to begin with.    If someone gambles all they have on the market and losses, it is a gamble they lost, that is all.  It isn't life.

    Just like 2008 some people will need to make adjustments in retirement disbursements and a few other things while the market corrects and stabilizes.   Some companies leveraged out their * will fail.   It happens, regularly and repeatedly, life goes on.

    Why anyone would think that is a mystery to me. The market fell BIGLY yesterday. I was impacted. I don't get it.
