stopped at a small local hot dog shop earlier and the gals behing the counter were talking to a woman in front of me about the water and paper shortage and laughing how dumb it was. the one gal said she needed toilet paper but was ashamed to go buy any afraid she would be labeled as one of the crazies.  just about everyone agreed the water made no sense at all, I mean if it is an emergency can't you drink tapwater??????????

I've been drinking water out of the tap going on 65 years and am still around to post this.

My opinion is  that many people are just spoiled on things and they are used to paying for it too!   They may even learn a thing or two before this BS is over!

My sincere hope is that such a crisis will unite our country.  Crisis made up by the media or real, it really does not matter.

I agree.  Don't see much need for bottled water all there are occasionally exceptions.  Tap water, well or city, should be free of the coronavirus.

I’m afraid that when it is over, the snowflakes will go back to normal. If it ends up not to be a disaster, they will be even less prepared the next time.

Yep, same here although not quite as many years. I have no idea when this bottled water thing became cool.

It will untie us or divide us more, depending how bad things get.

I would like to disagree with your statement.    I have already seen several neighbors and friends volunteering to help feed and watch kids that are out of school with both parents working.  They are doing this for complete strangers in our community.    It just takes folks doing a little bit of anything to help people that are in need.
