Made the dogs a new toy/play station! They love it!

OK, you know those thick cotton ropes with the knots in them?? My dogs love to run around the yard shaking them. I bought a new one and wondered what would happen if I would hang this knotted rope from a tree limb. I tied a rope to a tree limb about 10 feet up, put a 4 foot bungee cord on the rope and affixed the knotted rope toy to the bungee cord. The knotted rope hangs about a foot from the ground. My Border Collies LOVE this "play station!"
Since the bungee cord stretches they don't hurt their necks when they make flying leaps to grab a knot and crash back to earth and tug, tug, tug! I'm puppy sitting my daughters B.C. so at one time I had three B.C.s tugging against each other. My 6 1/2 month old pup will play with this rope until she is slap plumb wore out. The best part is they entertain themselves while I'm working outside rather than pestering me to throw a ball for them all the time. Ball time is when I'm done working, not while I'm working!
