had to take the wife to dentist, surgical, this morning to have tooth cut out and implant put in. they had a big sign on door only patients in waiting room, they wanted me to wait in the car!!!! for an hour and a half. I just sat down as there wasn't another soul in the building it was 7:00am, about half hour after they took the wife back a nurse came out and ask if she could help me, I said no I was waiting on wife, she told me there new policy because of the virus was to have those escorting the patient wait in car for them. now it is 40 degrees and raining outside, I told her no thank you, I wasn't going to run the vehicle for an hour to keep warm while her waiting room sat empty, no other patients. I told her I had just had a hip replaced and I was not going to sit in a cold car for over hour, she left went back behind the counter and had a small conference with about 3-4 other gals talking and pointing at me, though they never did come back out and say anything, had the place been elbow to elbow I might understand but they had no other patients in the building, guess I am just a grumpy old a-hole...........

we have got to get green font back.
Wrong call on your part.
If it is a "recommended" "guideline", was it also a "decision" or a law?
If the privately owned office does not follow (goes along with) the "guideline", they must stop practicing medicine?
Does the CDC have the authority to make decisions concerning other types of privately owned businesses such as banks, funeral homes, auction houses, or auto mechanics?
A policy is just a convenient way to say "Because I said so."
