Winchester 94 Marking

Traded into a very nice old 94 .30-30 (1949). What significance are the initials CB in front of the trigger?

Though I do not catalog individual markings on Model 94 rifles it is most likely an inspectors mark which was applied during the manufacture and assembly of the rifle.
